On Sunday, July 5 I packed up my gear (and a good friend) and headed east for a styled Drumheller wedding, organized by my friend Chloe Buie Photography!! She planned a wonderful educational event – combining a wonderful hardcopy workbook with real, hands on shooting. Her workbook included a roadmap of her ingredients for success: what has worked and hasn’t worked when it comes to marketing, websites and editing styles. Then we really had a treat to photograph a beautiful styled wedding!!  I really don’t believe “mediocre” is a word in Chloe’s vocabulary, so I knew the styled shoot would be over the top!

Chloe’s creative team totally blew the evening out of the water. Abundant florals in shades of ivory, mint & teal from Calyx Floral Design truly made the setting, as well as artful styling by the team at Today’s Sweet Weddings. The models were absolutely perfect: Pat & Kaylee were so wonderful to work with. Pat is also a phenomenally talented makeup artist and did picture perfect faces for the day. Everything from the rings, stationary, cake, decor & table setting were well thought out and perfectly executed.
