For this photo, I felt that the tree in the right side of the frame was stealing the attention away from my centered subjects. In photoshop, I used the clone stamp tool to stamp away the tree, as well as the select / fill: content aware, dissolve function! There were a ton of mosquitos in the RAW image, so I clone stamped them out. I brightened up the image with Greater than Gatsby Innocence: Elementary color base. I noticed that Cody’s shirt needed some tucking in, so I used the liquify warp tool to bring it in. Then, finally, I felt that the sky was a little plain and I wanted to add some clouds to finish my dreamy look. I used a sky from the Florabella Hazy Skies collection : ‘place embedded’ onto my image, reduced opacity to 30%, and placed it onto my image. Finite!
