I am so delighted to share this video from my friend Willy from Prairie Blooms Studio , a southern Alberta florist! This is a timelapse of her handcrafting the bouquet for our recent styled shoot, at the end of August.
The bouquet included many seasonal wildflowers, foraged from her garden and nearby pastures! The bouquet was a beautiful combination of daisies, catmint, sedum, soft pink roses, and tendrils of clematis. It even included some dried elements, like dried orchard grass and green foxtail. Willy put the finishing touch on the bundle by giving it a lace & burlap handle (with pearl pins!), and tying long strands of lace and purple ribbon as drapery!
