A beautiful downhome, dirt road, sunflower summer country Airdrie wedding

Tom & Bobbi-Jo’s wedding was east of Airdrie on Saturday and what an amazing day it was. Tom & Bobbi-Jo have been dating for many years and first met when Tom walked into her workplace. Bobbi-Jo was working at a bank and while working on his account she mentioned, “Your last name is Dunn. That is my horses name”, and Tom said, “Oh! That’s cool, what color is he?” while Bobbi-Jo blinked and said.. “He’s… a dun”. And they hit it off!!

The wedding was on the Dunn Ranch just outside of Airdrie. The farm was beautiful and the ceremony was near the driveway to the farm. It was quiet and peaceful, a hot day with an awesome breeze to cool guests down. Bobbi-jo walked down a long stretch of trees arm & arm with her uncle and when she saw Tom she had to blink away the tears! The ceremony was followed by a big group picture (I climbed up on a ladder) and then we went down the road to a neighbours place for the bridal party photos. It was hot, a little smoky from the BC fires and an amazing breeze would catch the girl’s high-low dresses to make it even more magical!! The dinner for their Airdrie wedding was tacos (AMAZING) and the reception tent was decorated so beautifully. Guests got to take home a CD of the songs used in the wedding and the speeches had everyone dying of laughter!!

In awe of the bouquets! Summerhill does the florals for a lot of my weddings. I am always so excited to see what Colette comes up with. Bobbi-jo mentioned to me that she enjoyed her consultation with them– Colette asked her what style of bouquet she would like, what flowers were in season for her color palette and what they could do to get the most impact for their budget!

These dresses were cheery and airy for the girls!! Embrace Bridal in Airdrie did a fabulous job suiting up the ladies.
