Natural Romance in the Arizona Desert

Just last week, I was in my jean shorts, sitting by a pool in Tempe, Arizona at the Showit United Conference. It was a conference for photographers. During the conference I learned a lot of exciting new things about marketing, editing, posing and running a business. I already bought my ticket for next year!! Every night, there was a dinner and party, where you could network and socialize with photographers who had flown across the country to be at United. I got to share the inner workings of my business, offer support to other photographers, and most of all , everyone is an open book. I feel like I learned as much from the social events as I did from the actual conference in Arizona! My website was made through Showit (who is the company that organized the conference) and they hosted “Website Coaching” sessions. I booked a time slot and totally enjoyed a full hour of critiquing and tweaking from a professional website designer. As a fun bonus, you can purchase tickets for styled shoots that take place in the morning (before the conference starts) or the afternoon (after the conference is done for the day and before dinner).  I snagged a ticket for this styled shoot and hauled myself out of bed to shoot this early morning goodness!!
