I discovered Cellar Door Vintage Rentals one evening as I was going down the “rabbit hole” that is Instagram. I remember searching through styled wedding sessions and there was one business account that I kept coming back to— this Cellar Door rentals. So I wondered, who is this? I clicked through to her website and my eyes just about popped out of my head when I found out that she is RIGHT in Airdrie (my hometown!)! I will be showing at the upcoming Airdrie Bridal fair and wanted to dress up my booth, so a few quick and easy Facebook messages later,  I was delighted to meet up with Brooke (the owner extraordinaire) this afternoon to browse her inventory.

Let me tell you. I was surrounded by ANYTHING and EVERYTHING antique and vintage– my inner child was doing back flips with joy. Her wedding rental shop is loaded with REAL authentic antiques that she picks up from her families Antique business, Where on Earth Did you Get That? (Also in Airdrie & in the same parking lot!). Mason jars, gilded candlesticks, old film cameras.. typewriters, windowpanes, birdcages.. I was in heaven.

At length (and with much deliberation) I selected some ticket items for my booth at the show!! I will be renting props galore for my Airdrie Bridal Fair booth. I won’t go into much more detail than that– It’s a surprise! You’ll have to come to the show to see what the fuss is about!! Before leaving the store I snapped a handful of photos of just a few things in the shop. Thanks Brooke for giving me ideas and insight!
